1、软管的更换与调整
（1）更换软管时，先将两端管卡螺栓松掉，并将管卡拆下，再将其中一端的吊圈螺栓松掉，将一端短管从胶管中抽出，点动电机将胶管自泵内推出；然后将新的软管从拆下短管的一端插入泵壳与压辊之间，点动电机，将软管装入；再将吊圈固定、管卡装上，至此更换任务完成。尤其注意再安装软管时，务必将软管与泵壳贴紧，确认后方能投入正常运行。
（2）软管使用200小时左右，可将软管转动90度，对单管软管泵除转动方向外，还可前后抽动软管，以改变软管的压点，延长软管的使用寿命。
软管泵用途非常广泛，市面上的诸多场合均可适用，如：污水泵井事故清空，污水泵站事故抽空，水厂的污水池、污泥池清空。市政下水道系统的污水、污泥清空抽排。工厂、罐车事故后的油品、液体物质、化学污泥等的紧急转移；事故后地表冲洗水抽吸泵。消防应急水转移；紧急供水泵站，泵内部过流部件都可配备不锈钢，数台泵车串联使用可作为临时供水泵站。军队、海军部队战备后勤泵车。
